About me

Hello, I'm Lia — a native English teacher from London, now living in Las Palmas, Spain.

I work with adults who are curious, reflective, and interested in the world around them. Many of my students are professionals who enjoy life-long-learning and are interested in personal growth.

In our classes, English becomes a tool for exploring ideas — from current events and culture to psychology, philosophy, and beyond. My approach is relaxed, personalised, and centred around real communication, not just boring textbooks!

When I'm not teaching, you'll often find me reading for my Spanglish Book Club, working on my own foreign languages, cooking, or enjoying long chats over coffee.

P.S. I have a CELTA teaching qualification and over 9 years of experience. I also have university degrees in International Relations and Psychology.
